APPEARANCE
Deep, pronounced cherry red colour.

NOSE
Aromatic intensity with a predominance of ripe black fruit and subtle notes of toasted oak.

PALATE
Very fresh on the palate, with sweet and abundant tannins, full-bodied and good acidity, and a persistent black plum finish.

AGEING
Aged for 14 months in used 225-litre barrels and in 150-litre clay amphorae. It then spends a minimum of 6months in the bottle.

PAIRING
The ideal companion for succulent dishes with red meats and hairy game, mushroom ragu and tubers.
