Bright and lively notes aromatic notes of blackcurrant and mulberry fruit, joined by some classic black pepper spice and dark chocolate.

PALATE
The palate shows some early mouth-filling roundness before a subtle tannin frame provides genuine structure, balance and control as the wine developes in the mouth.

AGEING
The wine is matured for 12-14 months in barrel before undergoing a light filtration and fining prior to bottling.

PAIRING
Excellent with BBQ ribs and spicy sausage, but also with an everyday club sandwich.
